From Serbia to Bansko, Bulgaria

  • Start in Serbia:
    Begin your journey by heading towards the Serbian-Bulgarian border. Key border crossings are Gradina (Dimitrovgrad) or Kalotina.

  • Enter Bulgaria:
    After crossing the border, follow signs for Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria.

  • Pass Through Sofia:

    • Take the A1 highway (Trakia Highway) or the A3 highway (Struma Highway) to bypass Sofia.
    • Follow signs for Blagoevgrad and Kulata, heading south towards the Greek border.

  • Turn Towards Bansko:

    • Approximately 30 km before the Kulata border, take the exit towards Razlog/Bansko.
    • Follow the road 19 through picturesque mountain scenery.

  • Arrive in Bansko:

    • As you enter Bansko, follow signs for the town center or your accommodation. La Mont Bansko is conveniently located 300m from the gondola lift.
